Day 346 - Feeling Better
I'm slowly starting to feel better -- more and more like me again. I'm not sure if it's because I've been inconsistent with taking my Tamoxifen ... but it could be a factor.
But for now, I'm happy feeling happier. =)

I'm glad you're feeling better. That's good to hear.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean 'inconsistent with taking my Tamoxifen'? Do you mean you've skipped doses, and now you're feeling better - which translates into Tamoxifen actually being the possible culprit as in a side-effect of Tamoxifen?
If so, could you look into taking something else, that is similar to Tamoxifen?
Hmmm....
Hey - did you stop taking Tamoxifen?
ReplyDeleteIs that what you are saying? Is there something like it (but not it) that you could be taking instead?
I've heard that before from other friends that had to quit taking Tamoxifen because (well, in one case) it made her super depressed.
I'm so glad you're feeling more like you though. So glad.
Have a good weekend.

Hey Michelle! No, I didn't stop taking it ... I do forget though sometimes to take it and I notice that after a few days of not taking it I start to feel better. Then when I'm on it for a few days I start to feel sad again.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is anything I can take other than the tamoxifen since I'm pre-menopause. I think the alternatives are for women post meno.
I'll talk to my Onc again soon and see what she says about staying on the drug -- see how it continues to affect me. I hope you're well.
